He is the Chairman and Founder of the Ary Suta Center. He completed his doctoral degree in Strategic Management at the University of Indonesia with cum laude in 2005, and graduated from Udayana University, Bali (Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting), Airlangga University (Sarjana Ekonomi degree in Accounting), and University of Denver (MBA degree in Finance). He was the Chairman of the Indonesian Banking Restructuring Agency (2001-2002) and the Chairman of the Indonesia Capital Market Supervisory Board (1998-200). He is the author of several books in finance and management. He is a lecturer at several prominent universities in Indonesia including Accounting Master Program at the University of Indonesia, Jakarta, MBA Program at the University of Indonesia, Jakarta; and Graduate Program at the University of Udayana, Bali. He has been the authoritative speaker in various workshops, seminars and conferences on capital markets, socio-economic, political science, and governance forums domestically as well as internationally. His research interests are in the leadership, reputation, governance, capital market, strategy, public competencies, competitive analysis and value creation.
